This fall BOATING magazine and boatingmag.com will introduce the winners of our Eco
Awards. Our editors will honor the products, people and places that, through
innovative ideas or good stewardship, are helping to keep our boating environment
healthy and natural for future generations, while at the same time embracing the
boating lifestyle and access to it.
“In recent years our industry has poured hundreds of millions of dollars into lower emission
motors, cleaner boatbuilding practices, waterway cleanup projects, green
product solutions and overall environmental awareness. Some of this has gone
unnoticed outside the boating circles. This is our opportunity to give credit to the
technologies, marinas, harbors, chemists, engineers and groups who are proving that
boaters are among the best solutions to sustaining our great outdoors,” said Randy
